I sincerely thank all of the people who love and value NAUH.
My name is Ji, Sung-ho, and I am the president of NAUH, a young adult organization that puts words into action.
NAUH is a North Korean human rights organization that works together with young adults from South Korea, North Korea, and overseas with the aim of improving the human rights conditions of North Korea and achieving a unified Korean peninsula. Following its founding in April 2010, we have organized various big and small events.
We have spearheaded the effort for alerting the public to the reality of North Korea's human rights conditions, organizing campaigns calling for unification, hosting cultural exchanges between South and North Korean young adults, participating in radio broadcasts that relay news of freedom for North Korea, and helping rescue operations of North Korean refugees.
In hindsight, there were also many difficult times, but we are thankful to be able to give hope to our many compatriots who are facing human rights violations.
The South and North Korean young adults who are working together at NAUH are already experiencing a small unification.
We thank all of the NAUH members who have joined in our efforts by holding pickets in the sweltering heat, the fierce cold, and the torrential rains, united by passion and love for the nation and a desire to restore human dignity and value. We will do our best to relay the thanks that we have received to others, as well.
NAUH will continue in our efforts until the day we restore the "Spring of Freedom in the land of North Korea." Thank you.
President of NAUH
